How It Works

Click the microphone, speak, click again. Your words become text that Lana responds to.

On Web

  1. Click the microphone button next to the input field

  2. Speak your question or request

  3. Click Stop when finished

  4. Lana transcribes your words and responds

On Mobile

Built-in transcription is coming soon. For now, use your device's native dictation:

  1. Tap the input field

  2. Tap the microphone icon on your keyboard (iOS or Android)

  3. Speak your question

  4. Tap Send


Tips for Better Voice Input

Voice-to-text isn't perfect. Here's how to get cleaner transcriptions:

Do This
Avoid This

Speak clearly, at a normal pace

Rushing through words

Pause briefly between sentences

Rambling without breaks

Use common words and phrases

Heavy jargon or uncommon names

Find a reasonably quiet spot

Loud equipment or wind noise

If transcription misses something, you can edit the text before sending. The input field is editable.
