Change Log
Mobile App Update — Voice Commands, Live Activity, Inventory Management & More
Live Activity for Recordings (iOS) When you start a recording, you'll now see a Live Activity on your iPhone lock screen showing the recording status. You can check that a recording is active at a glance without opening the app.

Voice Commands with Siri & Google Assistant You can now use your voice to jump straight into LeanScaper. On iOS, tell Siri something like "Start a chat with Lana in LeanScaper" or "Start a huddle in LeanScaper" to open the app right where you need it. On Android, the same commands work through Google Assistant. This is especially useful when you're on a job site and need to pull up Lana hands-free.
Improved App Startup We've simplified the app startup flow. When you open the app, you'll land right where you need to be without an extra swipe.
Login Stability Fix We've addressed an issue where some users were getting unexpectedly logged out of the mobile app. You shouldn't need to re-enter your credentials as frequently going forward.
Inventory Management with Lana You can now manage inventory directly through Lana on the mobile app. From the home screen, you'll see a new Manage Inventory card with two options:
Record change opens a chat with Lana where you can add or remove stock in plain language. Just tell her something like "add a mower blade in Park" and she'll confirm the item, location, and quantity before recording it.
Scan QR code opens your camera to scan a product code, then sends it to Lana so you can log the change without typing the item name.
Lana will ask whether you're adding stock or recording usage, confirm the details, and update your inventory counts, all from a quick conversation.
Inventory Management
Inventory
You can now track your materials, supplies, and equipment across every location in your business — trailers, yards, shops, shelves, bins. If it has a place and a quantity, it belongs in Inventory.
Head to Inventory in the sidebar and you'll find two views. The Dashboard shows you what needs attention right now: what's out of stock, what's running low, and what's changed recently. The Catalog is your full item list where you add, edit, import, and manage everything.
Here's what you can do:
Track items across locations. Every item has a name, quantity, location, and optional details like SKU, category, unit value, and preferred vendor. The system tracks stock status automatically — In Stock, Low Stock, or Out of Stock — based on your reorder points.
Import in bulk. Click the import icon to upload a CSV or spreadsheet with up to 1,000 items. Only the name column is required. Locations are created automatically from your file.
Set reorder points and let Lana watch them. When stock drops below your threshold, Lana creates a reorder card on your Ops Board. Batch items by vendor and place one order instead of five.
Print QR labels. Select items in the catalog, choose from six Avery-compatible label templates, and print. When a crew member scans a label, it opens a conversation with Lana pre-loaded with the right item and location. They just say what changed.
Update inventory through Lana. "Used 5 bags of mulch from Trailer 3." That's it. Lana updates the count, confirms the change, and triggers a reorder card if you're running low. Works in any language.
Use saved views to see inventory your way. Ten built-in views including By Location, Stock Alerts, Needs Reorder, Vendor Orders, Crew Inventory, Asset Value, and Quick Count for physical counts in the field.
The SOP for your crew is one sentence: when you take something or receive something, tell Lana.
Lana Support Mode
Lana can now answer product and how-to questions directly in chat. When you ask a support-related question — like how to set up a feature or what a setting does — Lana pulls answers straight from LeanScaper's Help Docs and includes a link to the source so you can dig deeper if needed.
Responses are short, step-by-step, and focused on getting you unstuck fast. If Lana isn't sure about something, she'll ask a clarifying question or point you to the closest help article rather than guessing.
Custom LeanBoards
LeanBoards
You can now create your own boards in LeanBoards, designed around how your team actually works. Head to LeanBoards → My Boards to create a new board and define your own columns — whether that's by workflow stage, responsibility, priority, or whatever fits your process.
Build boards for specific workflows or departments — instead of fitting everything into one default board
Define custom columns that match your stages, not a fixed structure
Run multiple boards to manage different types of work separately
Custom LeanBoards give you flexibility without sacrificing visibility, so work flows the way your team does.
Card Owner Visible in LeanBoard Summary View
LeanBoards
When boards get busy, context matters. You can now see who owns each card directly in the LeanBoard summary view—no need to open the card to know who’s responsible.
This makes it easier to:
Scan the board and understand ownership at a glance
Balance workload across teammates
Follow up faster without extra clicks
Card ownership is displayed consistently across columns, helping teams stay aligned and accountable as work moves forward.
Uninterrupted Huddle Recording on Mobile
Mobile
Recording a huddle shouldn’t stop because your phone decided to take a nap.
During longer huddles, some devices would dim or lock the screen, interrupting recordings and forcing crews to restart or miss key moments. That friction adds up fast when you’re standing in a parking lot trying to get the day started.
With this update, the LeanScaper mobile app now keeps your device awake while a huddle recording is in progress. Hit record, run the conversation, and finish without touching your phone again.
• Prevents device sleep during active huddle recordings
• More reliable long-form recordings in the field
Your Whole Team Just Got Connected
Agents Huddles LeanBoards Mobile
Field crews text the office. Nobody sees it until it's too late. Morning huddles generate ideas that end up on sticky notes or nowhere at all. Your best processes live in people's heads, not your systems.
This release changes that. LeanScaper AI now includes specialized agents that connect your field teams to your office in real time.
Huddles
Every morning, your crews talk through what's working, what's not, and what they need. By lunchtime, half of it is forgotten.
Now you can hit record, run your huddle like you always do, and let the Huddle Agent extract the wins, the blockers, and the action items. Summaries are ready to review in minutes. Requests automatically become cards on your LeanBoards. Nothing gets lost between the parking lot and the job site.
LeanBoards
"We need 3 yards of mulch at the Henderson site." That used to be a text that got buried. Or a voicemail nobody checked. Or a sticky note that fell off the dashboard.
Now it's a card on your Ops Board before the truck hits the next site. The LeanBoard Agent processes field requests and routes them to the right board automatically. Your office sees what's needed. Your field knows it was heard. No more playing telephone between crews and operations.
Custom Agents
Your best employee knows exactly how to handle client complaints. Your top estimator has a process that wins bids. That knowledge usually walks out the door at 5pm.
Custom Agents let you capture your best processes in AI that anyone on your team can access. Feed it your SOPs, your templates, your playbooks. Define what it knows and who can use it. It's like cloning your best people without the HR headache.
Mobile
Your field teams are on job sites, not at desks. They've been locked out of tools that require a laptop and a coffee shop.
The LeanScaper mobile app puts Lana in their pocket. Chat with Lana, record huddles, submit requests from the truck. AI support from anywhere, for everyone.

No more creating a document and then hunting for the access settings. Now you set the access level right when you create the doc. Change it anytime from within the document itself.
We also taught Lana more about you. Tell her your job title, preferred language, or who your manager is. She'll use that context to give you better, more relevant answers.
Keep Sensitive Documents Private
LeanDocs Permissions
New Finance access level for documents that shouldn't be visible to everyone. Finance-level documents are visible to Admins and Finance Admins but hidden from Employee roles.

Browse AI Agents by Function
Agents
The new Agents section lets you browse and search guided conversation flows organized by what they do. Select an agent to start a focused conversation. Save the output as a LeanDoc when you're done.
Think of agents as specialists. Instead of asking Lana a general question, you're working with an AI that's focused on one type of task.
