Lana is your connection to the entire LeanScaper system, right from your phone.


Opening a Chat

From the home screen, tap Chat with Lana to open the chat interface. You can also access chat history and start new conversations from here.

New starts a fresh conversation. History shows your past chats so you can pick up where you left off.


Typing vs. Talking

You can interact with Lana by typing or using your device's native dictation.

Typing: Tap the input field and type your question or request. Hit send.

Voice: Use your device's dictation feature. On iOS, tap the microphone on your keyboard. On Android, use Google voice typing. Your spoken words get sent to Lana just like typed text.

Speak in any language. Dictation works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and whatever languages your device supports. Use what's natural for you.


What You Can Ask

Lana on mobile works the same as Lana on web. Ask questions, get guidance, submit requests.

Getting answers:

  • "How do we handle irrigation heads that keep getting hit by mowers?"

  • "What's our process for documenting property damage?"

  • "What should I do if a client asks about adding services?"

Submitting requests:

  • "We need 3 yards of brown mulch at the Johnson property"

  • "The zero-turn is making a grinding noise, needs to be looked at"

  • "Mrs. Thompson asked about adding lighting to her patio"

When you submit a request, Lana may ask follow-up questions to make sure it's clear. Answer them, and your request becomes a tracked card on the appropriate board.


Suggested Prompts

When you start a new chat, you'll see suggested prompts to help you get started. These are common tasks and questions that work well with Lana.

Tap a suggestion to use it, or ignore them and ask whatever you need.


Conversation History

Tap History to see past conversations. Each chat is saved separately, so you can return to a previous topic without losing context.

Your chat history syncs between mobile and web. A conversation you started on your phone shows up on the web app, and vice versa.


AI Disclaimer

At the bottom of the chat, you'll see: "Review answers: even Lana makes mistakes."

This is a reminder that AI is a tool, not an authority. Lana provides helpful guidance based on general knowledge and your company's LeanDocs, but you should always apply your own judgment. If something doesn't seem right, trust your experience.


What's Different on Mobile

The mobile chat is intentionally streamlined. You get the core experience of chatting with Lana, but some features are web-only:

  • Creating and editing LeanDocs

  • Configuring custom agents

  • Working with specialist agents (CMO, SOP, etc.)

  • Account settings and team management

For those tasks, use the web app. Mobile is built for quick conversations and field requests.

Expanding throughout 2026: More capabilities are coming to mobile, including agent access and LeanBoard viewing. The mobile app will become more powerful over time.
